3. Watch for a rash – A red, blotchy rash typically appears a few days after initial symptoms, starting on the face and spreading downward.

Why Vaccination Still Matters

The MMR vaccine is safe, effective, and our best defense against measles. The CDC recommends:

• First dose at 12–15 months

• Second dose at 4–6 years
