Getting started is simple:
- Parent-only telehealth visit to discuss concerns and determine if the program is the right fit.
- In-person session with you and your child at our Lee’s Summit office if you choose to move forward.

Our Practitioners
Hollee Muller, LCSW
Hollee is a licensed clinical social worker with over two decades of experience working with children and families in hospital and clinical settings. She currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Health while also providing therapy to children and adolescents.
Her clinical specialties include neurodiversity-affirming care and crisis intervention.
Born and raised in Independence, Missouri, she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Missouri–Columbia (MIZZOU—RAH!).
Kendra Cardin, LCSW
I was raised in Wichita, Kansas and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 with a degree in Psychology, and earned a Masters in Social Work from KU in 2007.
I volunteered with foster children during undergrad and because of that experience, I knew I always wanted to work with kids and families who are trying to make their world better.
Kimberly Sands, LCSW
Kim brings over a decade of experience supporting adolescents through challenges such as anxiety, depression, and identity exploration.
Using a strengths-based, empathetic approach, Kim creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. Drawing on tools from CBT and a variety of evidence-based modalities, Kim partners with clients to build confidence and resilience. Let¡¦s work together to help you thrive!
Eliza Harrison, LPC
Eliza is a licensed clinical therapist who incorporates play-therapy skills to help children express emotions, build coping strategies, and make meaning through developmentally appropriate experiences.
She creates a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe to explore challenges. Her approach emphasizes collaboration with families to promote growth beyond the therapy space.
Elizabeth Gonzalas, LMSW
Elizabeth has over 20 years of experience working across diverse settings, including healthcare, education, domestic violence, child welfare, mental health, and grief and loss.
She utilizes evidence-informed therapeutic approaches such as play-based, solution-focused, and strengths-based modalities to help clients navigate life’s challenges, improve communication, express emotions, and process experiences in a supportive and meaningful way. She partners closely with parents and caregivers to collaboratively achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
Chris Mattix, LPC
Chris is a licensed therapist who primarily works with children and adolescents, supporting them as they navigate life’s challenges and build confidence and emotional resilience.
His therapeutic approach emphasizes identifying strengths, fostering self-belief, and empowering clients to recognize their inner capabilities. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside humanistic principles, Chris tailors treatment to meet each client where they are. He strives to create a supportive, engaging environment where clients can unlock their true potential, develop healthy coping skills, and grow into their most authentic and confident selves.

A team of six licensed therapists, including our Behavioral Health Program Director.
What happens during the first visit?
A parent-only telehealth appointment to review concerns and determine fit, followed by an in-person session with your child if you choose to continue.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Confidentiality and its limits are reviewed during your intake session.
How do I schedule?
